About

My Name is Austin Beckett.

My grandfather, Humbert Beckett, built over 100 homes in our hometown. I spent a decade as a Marketing Manager for Fortune 500 companies. Now I build the marketing systems contractors like him wished they had all along.

The Story

My dad and grandfather built 100 homes in Nackawic, New Brunswick. Hammer-in-hand, East Coast, blue-collar work. That's the family I come from.

Me? I spent a decade creating marketing systems and strategies for Fortune 500 companies like Baxter and Boeringer Ingelheim. Eight-figure budgets. Boardrooms full of people arguing about a quarter-point on a P&L that didn't mean anything to anyone but shareholders. Good money. But it didn't feel meaningful.

Meanwhile, back home, my buddies were going out on their own. Roofers, plumbers, electricians, framers. The best tradesmen I knew. Guys who'd show up in a snowstorm and fix the thing right. They had the work ethic, the skill, and the reputation in their town.

But the phone would ring while they were up on a ladder, go to voicemail, and by the time they called back the lead had already booked the next guy on Google. It wasn't a skill problem. It was a bandwidth problem.

They couldn't get reviews either. Not because customers weren't happy. The work was great. They just forgot to ask. Or they asked once, in person, and never followed up. And then one impossible-to-please homeowner, the kind nobody could satisfy, would leave a 1-star rant that sat at the top of their Google profile for months, scaring off every lead who read it.

The marketing world wasn't built for them. The agencies that could build what they needed wanted $5,000, $8,000, sometimes $10,000+ a month to do it. Numbers that don't work when you're a three-truck operation trying to make payroll.

I wanted to build something different. One simple system that fixed all of it. A website built to turn clicks into booked jobs. Missed-call text-back that catches leads while they're up on the ladder. A review funnel that sends unhappy customers to them privately and nudges the happy ones until the 5-stars actually hit Google. An all-in-one inbox so nothing slips through the cracks. Local SEO so they show up when someone in their town searches “roofer near me.” The result: more 5-star Google reviews, more booked jobs, and more money in their pocket. All without needing a marketing degree to run it or an enterprise budget to afford it.

Miramichi. Dryden. Kingston. Mississauga. Hamilton. Now St Catharines. I've lived in enough towns across this country to know what a contractor's reputation actually looks like, and what it's worth.

That's why I founded Beckett Systems. If that sounds like the kind of help you've been looking for, let's talk.
